Adult | Powerboating Courses
Powerboat RYA Course | Level 2
Join us for a two-day adventure where you’ll learn essential boating techniques, from launching and recovering a boat to everyday handling and safety measures. Gain the skills and background knowledge required to navigate a powerboat and earn the RYA Power Boat Level 2 award. Courses run on demand: min. 2 persons max. 3 persons per course.
RYA Safety Boat Course
The next step in your powerboating journey. Throughout this 2-day course you will learn more advanced skills and techniques in your driving. As a confident powerboat driver, use this course to expand your competence to include advanced safety techniques and fleet safety skills. Perfect for club safety cover and a pre-requisite qualification for the RYA Senior Instructor course. Pre-entry requirement: RYA Power Boat Level 2 qualification.
Powerboat Instructor
Ready to share your passion for power boating? Our three-day Powerboat Instructor course prepares you to teach others. Whether you’re at a sailing club, powerboat school, or your own RYA recognised centre, this course covers everything from driving skills to teaching theory. To enrol on this course, candidates should have logged five seasons of powerboating experience. If it’s part of your job, one season of full-time work will count. Prerequisites before the course: • RYA Powerboat Level 2 • RYA Powerboat Instructors Skills Assessment • RYA First Aid at Sea or other recognised first aid certificate
