Booking
I can only see 2 places available and I need 3, is this possible? (or variations of this).
Unfortunately, the number of available spaces is limited. We recommend booking early to secure your spot.
I would like to book Pay & Play for 8 of us next weekend, but the booking system won’t let me?
To ensure quality and safety, we limit the number of participants in each group. You may need to book onto multiple induction times if your group exceeds our limit.
I can’t see any availability for bookings next month. When can I book?
We release the next month’s Pay & Play availability approximately 10 days before the end of the month, usually on the nearest Friday. Please just drop us a line if you have any specific requests
We want to hire a kayak on Tuesday evening next week for a birthday party, but can’t see it on your website?
All our available activities are listed on the website, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, it may not be currently offered. Please just drop us a line if you have any specific requests.
I’ve booked a time for hiring a kayak, can I come at any time?
Bookings are for specific time slots. Please arrive on time to ensure you can enjoy your activity as scheduled.
I made a booking for a canoe, but it says on the receipt I’ve booked 1 seat?
We understand the confusion. Regardless of terminology, your booking covers the boat and its occupants!
I’ve made a booking, but now rain is expected. Can I get a refund or move it to a day when the weather is better?
We only cancel activities if weather conditions pose a safety risk. Refunds are issued in such cases. Otherwise, our activities proceed rain or shine!
The website booking system doesn’t seem to be working. It won’t let me get what I want?
Our booking system is usually reliable, but occasional issues may arise due to browser settings. Please try using another device or updating your browser. Or please just drop us a line if you have any specific requests.
Are there any other activities not listed on the website?
For your convenience all our activities are listed on the website.
I’ve just tried to book a course/activity on your website and it’s not letting me?
If an activity isn’t available, it won’t be listed on the website. Our program adjusts based on demand and availability.

When is The Lodge coffee shop open?
The Lodge’s opening times are available here.
Can we just come along for a picnic / barbeque / to spectate?
Our site is reserved for paying activity customers only, as space is limited. We appreciate your understanding, and if you’d like to watch a friend or family member, you can always do so from our lovely café with a cold or hot drink!
Can our dog come along and join us on the boat/board?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please ensure they are properly supervised and cleaned up after.
Own Kit
Can I bring my own canoe/paddleboard/inflatable?
We offer great membership options for launching approved craft. Check out our Launch Membership for more details!
You’re not open on Tuesday evening, but I’ve got my own kit, can I come along anyway?
Our opening hours are designed to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. We appreciate your understanding.
Paddleboarding
Do you have any Paddleboards available this weekend?
All available Pay & Play activities can be found here. These activities tend to book up quickly, so be sure to check for availability!
If I hire a paddleboard can me and my family share it and swap and change during the hour?
Unfortunately, each booking is issued to an individual, but you’re welcome to book multiple slots for each member of your family.
I would like to try paddleboarding… Do you offer lessons?
If you prefer a more structured session, check out our Paddleboard Taster Sessions, but we provide all the necessary equipment and a briefing before you head out on the water, so it’s very safe and fun to just “have a go”!
Other
I can’t believe you’re not open tomorrow evening. The weather is meant to be great?
If we could, we would. We can’t easily adapt to the whims of the British weather for the occassional glorious evening.
How much is it to use the inflatable obstacle course at the park and beach and can I book?
I don’t know, best you ask the business that runs it who should be able to help you out. Google ‘Cotswold Country Park and Beach’.
Do you offer open water swimming?
We currently offer a few limited times for swimming on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.
