Unqualified Activity Instructor

Role

We are looking for some exciting individuals to train in a range of our activities for this coming season.

You will gain recognised qualifications in first aid, power boating and high ropes along with in-house training on raft building, team challenge, bushcraft, archery and axe throwing.

What we are looking for

We are looking for some great personalities to join our team this season and be trained in a range of activities, working with our school groups, corporate clients and holiday children’s activities. If you have a love for the outdoors and are great with customers, we are looking for full time regular work instructing fun activities and residential groups during our busy summer period.

We will train you over 3-4 weeks in all the skills and qualifications you might need to deliver a range of the activities we offer. So if you think you have the personality, and qualities we might be looking for and love being part of an outgoing team and don’t mind having too much fun at work, we want to hear from you.

You will be experiencing a varied season working on everything from core school and corporate bookings or holiday courses and our pay & play rental programme. We have something to suit everyone. We’re all about making a difference and having fun doing it.

You will ideally have some experience working directly with the public and a natural confidence talking with both adults and children. No direct experience in what we do necessary, but you will need to have a good base level of physical fitness and a love of the outdoors – no matter what the weather.

Contracts and training commence from Monday 16th March and will cover:
* Outdoor First Aid
* Power Boat Level 2
* ERCA High Ropes & Climbing
* Sky-Line Aerial Adventure
* Improvised Raft Building
* Bushcraft and Survival Skills
* Archery and Axe Throwing
* Team Challenge Activities
* Catapult Building

Working hours will include evenings and weekends and be rostered over the summer period, with reduced operating hours in the early season and more in peak summer.
